Prof Nizam made Scouts National Commissioner


Prof Nizamuddin Ahmed, a Scouts Woodbadger, was appointed a National Commissioner of Bangladesh Scouts.

President and Chief Scout Iajuddin Ahmed has given consent to the appointment of Prof Nizam, says a press release.

Chief National Commissioner Md Abul Kalam Azad has entrusted Prof Nizam with the charge of Extension Scouting and of the Scouts Foundation.

A Paul Harris Fellow, Prof Nizam is presently serving as deputy district governor of Rotary International Bangladesh.

A teacher and architect by profession, he has also been contributing to The Daily Star as a columnist since 1995.
